On the third [map], I was going to hit GO, Crystal Dragons. But I decided to check the treasure zone from the marsh, took the Dungeon and Necropolis. In the treasure zone, I grabbed the Helm +6 to all from a herd of Bulls. Val appeared. Split, Chain, and Crag catches up to Val. Advantage in stats and speed allowed me to easily win the fight.
