I have some rather interesting information: according to my information, the cavalry bonus of champions does NOT apply to halberdiers. I ask you to verify and confirm or refute this statement.
10 champions inflicted 364 damage on halberdiers from a distance of seven cells, while the same number of champions inflict 363 damage on them in close combat.
