two questions

Actually, we weren't talking about the Polish version of the game, just so you know. We were talking about GoG.ru; look it up on the wiki to find out what it is. And for me, 300 rubles is like 4 packs of cigarettes, which I smoke in 2 days. So, these days, it's not a lot of money. As for those who are used to getting everything for free, go ahead and get viruses and non-working software, while I'll go to the Union and get it there, knowing that my computer doesn't have WoG or other foreign stuff installed. I personally check every game I install. Right now, I have a licensed version of SoD, which I'm completely happy with. I found the configuration files for patching in 3.2, asked someone for help, and wrote my own patcher so as not to add anything unnecessary to the executable. As a result, I have a stable version that has been working for 7 years without any crashes or unexplained lags. Regarding the game settings, I got some help on DF, figured out where everything is and what it does, and I thank them for that, as well as the local community. We were talking about modifying SoD specifically, not involving WT in it, which, when installed in the first game, gave a script error, even though I, as a rather attentive person, meticulously followed the instructions and installed everything as it should be. That's why I don't use anyone's creations made with clumsy hands. :-)

This isn't a criticism of asm and the team; you guys are doing great and moving forward, but there are just people for whom this isn't necessary, and there are also skeptics like me
