Where did people learn to play Heroes?

I learned to play Heroes when I was 9 years old; I always watched my brother play this game! I was thrilled, even though I didn't understand anything, but I knew I would like the game! And now, from a recruit with an army of 100 archers, I've become a hero with an army of 72,000 paladins!
