It's okay to offer reasonable advice. Don't go so far that it seems like someone else is playing for you. I've heard of some people who would go to another person's house, sit at their computer, and play as that person. That's a violation. There's a possibility that someone is sitting next to them and dictating all the moves, the setup in battles, and the person at the computer is carrying out everything that is said. That's also a violation. Let's compare things and everything will be fine.
