Nah, you could have gotten them much earlier than the vampires and liches. Accordingly, the situation would have been different. Although in the end, you're right, they would have ended up in the oil fields too :D. Besides, there's also a problem with the Archers - I fight with axes, probably mistakenly believing that a bullet is stupid, and a bayonet is effective :)
