Wow, what an interesting topic! I thought I was already spending a lot of time when a single (not always final) difficult battle lasts up to half an hour! :) And here – this! No, there definitely should be some kind of reasonable time limit for the entire battle and for each round in the rules, even if it's not a timer! Otherwise, the opponent will get nervous and start wondering: what's going on, did he fall asleep or something?! And what if it's late, or what if he has to go to work/school tomorrow? Let's say, one hour (60 minutes) for the entire battle and up to 15 minutes per round? For example, can a player either win in 4-5 rounds by thinking carefully, or in many rounds by thinking quickly?
