I re-downloaded version 1.1, installed it, and everything seems to be working fine:

Although, I take it back, not everything is fine: the difficulty level is not being detected correctly. But this is more likely a problem with the specific game installation. I can suggest that you reinstall the game and/or remove all third-party maps and mods.
