, these are two different things... here it's a bug with using the autobattle feature (i.e., the computer does all this), and casting two spells in one round is a real cheat that was fixed a long time ago... P.S.
The computer can move one cell further on tactics, so why should this be prohibited for the player? Moreover, it's all within the rules; the unit doesn't leave the reconnaissance zone. And the fact that you didn't know about it is because most people only found out about it after the recent interportal.
