So, our "beloved government" is trying to push through Bill No. 89417-6, which is practically a complete censorship of the Russian-speaking internet.
The saddest part:
…the procedure for blocking internet content, as regulated by the bill, involves restricting access to information that is prohibited or undesirable for children, for all users of the Russian segment of the internet – without the possibility of appeal or a review process, without any restrictions that would allow the proposed measures to be interpreted as anything other than the introduction of censorship, which is directly prohibited by the Constitution of the Russian Federation and restricts people's right to access information, without bringing us any closer to solving the problems stated in the bill.
