if there was anything in that place, it wasn't Mizu-kami, but rather water elements.

But this doesn't really matter. The main thing is that the icon for the golden version already exists, which means there's no need to fund its creation; it's enough to simply extract it from the archives. And recoloring the Mizu-kami model's armor to gold is clearly a less costly process than creating an entirely new object. I believe that this option would satisfy the developers due to its relative low cost and would please the players by introducing a distinction between the Water elementals and the Mizu-kami.
