This is a standard procedure; you can play this way even without the program, just if the desired one doesn't appear, load the save and buy again, look... A couple of hours of time - the desired one will appear... The "excavator" just saves the player's time.

If you want to figure it out, ask for STEP-BY-STEP saves, where literally every step of each hero is saved. Don't be lazy, go through all 1000+ saves, and such stupid questions will disappear, and the rest will be answered with pleasure. Otherwise, it looks like you're just being stingy.
