If you can't openly demonstrate your peaceful nature, then it turns out you can't solve clues, analyze newspapers, and deduce who the Mafia are.

I don't know how you manage to do that. It's another extreme. Solving a clue is a subjective, multifaceted process. Any clue can be interpreted in different ways, and people will either believe you or not. Both the Town and the Mafia have room to maneuver here. Moreover, in addition to the clue, there are also the results of the night actions.
But when someone openly reveals their role, and there are also some facts supporting them, making it difficult to challenge them, that's not a good thing. The Town gains excessive organization, while the Mafia can play on the Town's disunity with much less effectiveness.
