I understand perfectly what you mean. But just because I understand it doesn't mean I have to like it.
What is this stupid habit of immediately jumping to extremes? Why is role-revealing allowed in psychomafia? Because with neutral detectives, you can't really verify much. Which is not the case with evidence-based mafia. Here, any role-reveal can be quickly checked, and the result will always be the same: the mafia will have nothing to do during the day; if anything happens, they will immediately be asked to "hint at their role! Don't want to? Well, then you're mafia; a town member would have hinted." And if they try to hint, sooner or later they will simply "burn" during a neutral detective night. This is happening more and more often now.
It's enough to just look at the reasons for executions, how many are based on evidence and how many on assumptions. At this rate, everyone will soon not care about anything except "waiting for Petya to tell us his role and the night confirms his words." And will you balance this with overpowered neutral detectives for the mafia? Good luck with that.
Roles and assumptions in mafia shouldn't be crystal clear on the first day. There should be loopholes for each side, but not of the "fight fire with fire" kind, but more neutral ones.
P.s.
As this mafia game showed, you shouldn't rely on protection.
But if it happens due to the stupidity of some player, that's also normal. Deceiving and distorting facts is the task of the mafia members.

Барон "Vampires"
Отдай свои прошлые сны,
В сомненьях себя обрети,
В бешеном танце душа кружится!
Не думай, что будет потом,
Здесь и сейчас мы живем,
Стань хоть на миг сам собой, слышишь!
