That's exactly what happened. On day 1, Moandor reached level 4 but didn't manage to research Necromancy because there was almost no money. The path around the castle and only 3 heroes. There were about a hundred skeletons near Necropolis; I couldn't bring 2 unicorns and 3 dryads to gather an "army," and he paid the price for cheating.
