I see a perfectly logical reason for leaving the treasury – he went to get the armor. Who knows what’s further in the treasury, but the armor is right here, close by. While he’s getting the armor, the newbie can check out the underground treasury. That’s a very logical approach.
when I went in to the first treasure area, I was able to see the library and the armor. The guard of the library is much weaker, so I went to visit the library first.
the next day, I found nothing interesting in this area, so I went back to get armor.
And Homunculus provided screenshots (and I noticed them), where the Chinese player left the library to get the armor, without waiting to scout the underground treasury.
