I confirm. That's exactly what happened. I was just used to going straight and not slowing down, but it didn't work out at first. I lost once because of the castle, and then, after leveling up to 25, I went to attack the portals and ended up losing almost everything and realized that there was no point in continuing with a leveled-up hero without an army.
