Nostalgia. What makes the old better than the new?

No. Because people compare many things to their previous experiences. Nowhere, everyone is here, except for a couple of people. But nostalgia, like pity, is a destructive feeling and an overused word, especially among children. Usually, all sorts of hikikomori and melancholic individuals feel nostalgic when there are no bright spots in their current lives. As everyone knows, most things are overly embellished by the mind, and others are better imprinted in the naive, childlike mind, so the practical value of such reminiscing is somewhat diminished. Cioran wrote something about death, not life, but, frankly, there have never been many people in this section, and now, for quite some time, everyone has a comfortable space where it is much easier to communicate. In general, it depends on the individual, their introversion, and the severity of their life circumstances.
