Armageddon's Blade is definitely present in SoD.
Most likely, the answer is here: FizMiG, section 3.9 "Artifacts, their types and properties. Animation of composite artifacts."
When generating saves on maps created in the "The Restoration of Erathia" editor, one feature was noticed in the incorrect display of composite artifacts. The composite artifacts themselves are not available in this editor (they only appeared in "The Breath of Death"), but there is a way to place them...
Below is a list of artifacts that the player sees in front of them during the game and what is actually hidden under them.
And, although Armageddon's Blade itself is not a composite artifact, something similar is felt.
In general, as I understand it, the situation is as follows: the map was originally created in the "The Restoration of Erathia" editor, and then, possibly, it was edited in a newer version, and you are not playing "The Restoration of Erathia", but SoD.
But there is also a very simple explanation: maybe this hero of yours simply has an overloaded backpack? This sometimes happens on very rich maps.
To better understand what happened, you need to name the map and provide a save file before this happens, for analysis. It is impossible to solve this issue remotely.
