Tazar is already among the Barbarians in the sixth game. Tazar was only thirty-three days old when his parents, merchants from the Duchy of Wolf, sailed from Nilshaven to Strandholm. The ship was caught in a terrible storm, and huge waves smashed the fragile hull like an eggshell. Tazar's parents drowned, but he survived. On the shore of one of the islands of Pao, he was found by a female saber-toothed jaguar. Obeying mysterious animal instincts, she carefully took the child in her mouth, carried him to her den, and raised him like her own cub. Tazar's first encounter with intelligent beings occurred only ten years later, when a group of Naga poachers killed his "mother." Seeing her skin hanging in the middle of the hunting camp, the boy went into a rage and attacked the three Nagas, although his only weapons were his own teeth and the stones he picked up there. His desperate, furious cries attracted the attention of Orcs, who were tracking the Nagas. Amazed by the murderous fury of the human child, the Orcs came to his aid and killed the Nagas. "Calming" the frenzied boy with a blow to the head, the Orcs brought him to their village and began to patiently tame him and teach him the customs of the Orcs. Tazar is the only human who can rightfully be called a jaguar warrior. He wears the skin of his "mother" as a reminder of his origins and a warning to his enemies.
