Stiky correctly stated that it is not in his best interest as an organizer to ban anyone, especially from among the strong players. Therefore, since he did it, it means he really believes he is right.

Looking for some sympathy for Pete or antipathy towards Rebel here is absurd. I also note that Rebel's defenders mainly focus on the ethical side of the issue - "he's a great guy, why are you banning him?!"

In my opinion, online play in Heroes has practically completely discredited itself. You can always suspect your opponent of cheating and, if necessary, post saves with ambiguous decisions in order to remove the opponent from the tournament, ban him, and so on. That's why I'm no longer interested in ranked races, for example. You can only be sure when playing live.

The position is sound, but not constructive. You can't just stop playing online for fun; you still want tournaments, including prestigious ones. Therefore, you need to somehow fight cheating; there are methods.

No one says that professional sports are discredited because of doping.
