Not enough to just play? Well, of course not.

Yes, I mean to actually play and fully experience what it's all about. I don't need a demo. I need at least one map, but with all the "features." And definitely not a piece of the campaign that I haven't played and don't plan to play, in any of the series' installments.

You know your friends' tastes; you are their friend. You know what games they like, what they don't, and why. Naturally, based on this knowledge, you can form your own opinion about the game!

I already wrote a response about this. And you don't need to tell me that I'm wrong or something. I wouldn't form any opinions. To form your own opinion based on the opinions of others, without even trying it out, is just stupid in this case. Opinions about games are opinions about games. What tastes? My friends don't play turn-based strategy games, for example. So what?
If friends have a game, they let you try it, not just tell you opinions that are essentially worthless.
