I like it too, but as far as I know, it's not "Quatl" but "Coatli" from the word "Quetzalcoatl" - the Aztec god.
Actually, "coatl" translates from Aztec as "snake." It didn't originate from the name of the god, but the name comes from this word. "Quetzalcoatl" means "feathered snake."
