To Oelm:
I explained my strategy regarding restarts. When I start playing as Blue, and Red has been playing for, say, 10 minutes, and at the end of my turn, Red has more heroes in the tavern than I do, it indicates that the opponent has been in battles and therefore had resources to acquire them. The number of starting units indirectly shows the amount of money the opponent has.
As a result, I will intentionally choose a restart if one is available, even if I have a playable card, if my goal is to win. It's possible that someone else has a similar strategy; it's not out of the question.
