War and Peace was written by Tolstoy under the influence of the Bhagavad Gita he had read.

In my opinion, it's been a long time since it was time to change not only the school curriculum; this one change is not enough. First of all, the teaching methods themselves need to be improved by the teachers. After all, who is the average school teacher these days? A woman who graduated from university and doesn't know where to go to work. A self-respecting man would never go to work as a school teacher (although I believe that this profession is primarily a male one). And why is that? Because the low salary and social status of a teacher are practically equal to the salary and status of a janitor. Well, what can such an average teacher teach children, let alone instill a love of literature? I think that changes in this regard should not be expected in Russia for a very long time.
