I watched the new Sherlock Holmes from 2009 and the second part, from 2011. Everything was exactly as I expected – a vulgar, action-packed movie. The plots were also half predictable and half nonsensical. The second part turned out to be even more boring than the first, although in the first, the villain was some nobody, and in the second, it was THE villain himself. I only managed to watch the second film in two sittings; I fell asleep during the break between them.
The only thing I liked was the three and a half folk tracks that played a couple of times in the films. It was nice to hear "Rocky Road to Dublin."
