I must admit, they really started making films where some prominent historical figures are frankly portrayed in a negative light. There's even one about Zhukov, about his love affairs. And even about Shakespeare. I don't understand how this is possible. Even if something like that happened somewhere, we don't know them for that, but for their good deeds, right? Why would anyone need to know such nonsense? So they can show off their knowledge in some company and say that Shakespeare was a womanizer? And list all the women he loved, real and fictional, in a "biographical" film, without knowing a single excerpt from his works in English? It's a very dubious kind of erudition.
