I disagree. If you mean that having a spell to raise the dead isn't enough for an effective rush, then that's true.

Zombies aren't as powerful as vampires.

I like zombies for their survivability. And vampires, although powerful, die quickly. Of course, there's also Lucra, besides Orsik, but the bonus to attack and defense is relatively small, while zombies have a huge increase.
