The boss is always right, no one argues with that. It's just that you'll end up spending a lot of time tracking who did what with the hat. The game will end in the same turn that the hat appears, especially considering that artifacts can be sold at inflated prices. You won't be able to track who sold the artifacts and used the hat, and who simply hacked the game for money and turns.
