DISCUSSIONS on “Rules for online games in HoMM3 and formulas for calculating player rating.”
5.8.1. In the Conflux castle, it is forbidden to upgrade monsters of levels 1, 6, and 7. When playing as Conflux, the starting hero is chosen randomly when the map is generated.
With a certain voting result, for example, Is it possible to allow the player to choose a hero? Or to prohibit the selection of a specific hero as the starting hero, such as Galthran?
I agree, there are very few Conflux games; perhaps slightly weakening the restrictions on it would increase its popularity. I believe that the upgrade of Pixies is not much stronger than the upgrade of Harpies or Gurney's Ballista; they are very dangerous (morale) and unreliable (tramplers). And spending a day on it is more likely to result in losing the construction of level 7. Level 6 is not more dangerous than a Red Ball or Ifrits... [off]and the double increase of level 7 - forget about it[/off] The heroes there are all good; you can leave them as they are.
