I'll try to write down my impressions; there are many, and they are all positive :) It started with us spending a day and a night on the train and arriving in Yekaterinburg. In the middle of the night, Mee and Alone met us. Upon arriving at the base, people were already playing poker :) Not many people got up for breakfast the next day :D. A couple of hours later, the draw and equipment setup began. After all the equipment was set up, the tournament started. The tournament itself went smoothly, without any incidents, largely thanks to Wicc's competent judging. The tournament turned out to be very dramatic. I haven't seen such a will to win in a long time, as demonstrated by =Stinger=, who deservedly added this victory to his list of achievements, which would clearly have been incomplete without it. Congratulations to Artem! Tossing the winner up in the air during the award ceremony was awesome! :D. The participants from the Siberia team won prizes; I hope someone among them will move up one spot next time! As for the cultural program, everything was top-notch. Barbecue, poker, soccer, swimming pool, an intellectual contest, a city tour, ATVs for some, and McDonald's for others . Everything was great! Personally, I met many wonderful people. First of all, these are the organizers of the championship, Merlin, Mee, and Asm. Thank you very much to them; keep up the good work!!!! Alone, thank you for meeting us; it's a pity we didn't get to play chess, but I think we'll fix that ;) The local participants surprised me with their game, especially the dark horse, Yosemite. Among the other participants, I would like to mention Artem Cobra, Dima DD, the evil romantic, Max Bloodlaiker, Lyokha Bayazet, Uncle Sasha Horn, and Dima Matrosov, whom I didn't know before, but I was very glad to meet. It is also worth noting the wonderful Katerina, who graced our male company. Definitely someone to understand and forgive :D. I was very glad to see my old friends, Stinger, Oxy, and PReDS. The guests from Belarus, Rusya and Besha, deserve a special mention – they are great guys, well done for coming. I think I'll express the general opinion if I join in:
Mee
P.S. Let's have CIS-2013 in Minsk! :)
Take note and start mobilizing people :D. Get ready! :D:D:D I apologize if I forgot anyone; if I remember something, I'll add it later! Thank you all very much for the company!!! We're waiting for the photos!!!
