Do you consider video games to be art?

1) Good, positive. 2) RPGs (not online) are my favorite, although I also enjoy strategy games and maybe even shooters. I don't like sports simulators or adventure games (although I can tolerate racing games). I haven't played fighting games much, and only on consoles, a long time ago, but I have very positive impressions. If we're talking about games in general, I should mention board games and card games – I have a positive attitude towards them, although I don't play them often. I generally like collectible card games (CCGs). 3) Of course, yes. People put their heart and soul into creating them. They come up with a world, characters, or something else (depending on the genre). Of course, there are games that are just… nothing, completely soulless, but isn't that true of every art form? However, I can still enjoy games that lack atmosphere (like the CCG Magic: The Gathering, where instead of elves, goblins, magic, and all that, they could have set it in the year 3014 and made it about intergalactic wars), but atmospheric games always give me much more enjoyment.
