Do you consider video games to be art?

1. Overall, it's good, but without excessive enthusiasm. 2. Probably RPG (but not MMO! I don't like playing online) and turn-based strategy games. Although, I simply haven't tried other genres. 3. Why not? Some game universes are no less compelling than book or movie universes, and in some ways even surpass them. Half of my favorite characters are from games, and no one would say that I love them only for their cool models and awesome abilities, which is also an indicator. Video games are a relatively new field, and it has great potential. 4. In descending order: gameplay and the atmosphere of the game world; characters and the presentation of the plot (I haven't dared to evaluate the plot itself for a long time, because all known and unknown templates have been used hundreds of times); visually pleasing graphics, but not necessarily ultra-modern and mega-cool. 5. The Mass Effect series; King's Bounty: The Legend and Armored Princess; The Elder Scrolls series; the SW Knights of the Old Republic series; Disciples 2; Heroes of Might and Magic 2, 4. Yeah, it turned out to be quite a list, but I don't consume games in hundreds; I've chosen a few series and play them endlessly. A girl came and wrote a lot of text, lol:)
