[+] The ability to create a physically patched HD3 executable (as in 2.98) has been completed, and this executable can be launched without arguments in the command line.
[+] 'System Cursors' option: In 32-bit MMX mode, the cursors in the game (all except artwork) are rendered using Windows, loaded from a separate DLL with *.cur files inside, and from one .ani file outside the DLL.
This provides:
a significant performance increase;
no glitches with partial rendering of the city screen and other windows;
smoother cursor movement (in the original game, the cursor has a horizontal step of 2 pixels);
the ability to use 32-bit cursors.
The only drawback: system cursors are 32x32, original ones are 40x40 (the difference is noticeable in the boat, flood, and day counter cursors).
[-] Clicking when it's not your turn no longer displays the market window.

For the enabled Tournament module option:

[+] In the list of RMG templates, the maximum number of human players and the range of permissible map sizes for a given template are now displayed after the template name; this information is taken from the template itself.
[+] When selecting an RMG template, if the selected map size or the selected number of human players does not correspond to the permissible values of the template, the settings are changed to match the permissible values of the template.
[!] Now, by default, the following options are set in RMG: 2 human players, 0 AI players, no water, strong monsters, difficulty - 180%.
[+] Now, in the RMG settings, you can choose the type of roads (SOD only): three checkboxes.
If all are checked, the road type is chosen randomly from three;
if two are checked, it is chosen from two; if none are checked, the map has no roads.
[+] Daily saves have been added (can be disabled in the additional options in the game).
[-] Password-protected saves have been disabled (will be further developed).
[ ] The alliance selection has been refined, and bugs related to this feature have been fixed.

I think this version is already a worthy replacement for 2.98.
