it's their right, as stated in the game rules. If this issue escalates, something needs to be changed in the rules themselves. Change it in a way that no one even thinks about revealing their role. But in my opinion, it's a fun feature. It annoys people, allows you to win, so it's not pointless. It's just a different truth, a different perspective on the game.
