Well, from a moral standpoint, there are different ways to look at it.
a) Consider mod killing as part of the rules. Then everything is fine. It's like a business transaction. You pay with the life of a character for the opportunity to express all your thoughts.
b) As a disregard for the rules. It's like, I agreed to the rules just for show, but in reality, I don't care about them.

I don't know, I like both options. Normal people might not like any of them, or maybe just the second one. I don't know. I have specific, distorted ideas about society.
