Think again!! There's no need to ban the Orb; you might as well ban the Cloak of Disintegration too – throw it all away. Not everyone will suddenly stop playing mages because of that. By the way, you don't often see main characters who are mages in WoTA either, even though the Orb and Cloak are banned. For those who are so vocal about overpowered artifacts, just play chess; everyone has the same advantages there.
Okay, I'm starting to reconsider. I created the poll because I thought it would overwhelmingly favor banning the Orb, but I was wrong. Opinions are actually divided equally. Well, that's fine. So, am I really going to have to play WoTA?
I hate the settings that are considered "standard" in it. First of all, it's the lack of morale for neutral creatures. Playing without a morale stack is a degradation – morally, ethically, and physically. Experience and tax are not heroes at all; they're just a bunch of grunts. I don't like that the second hero arrives naked and barefoot.
Because of this, it's hard to find an opponent who matches my playstyle.
But I do see some positives:
1. Guild restructuring.
2. Chess timer.
3. Ban that unnecessary, unused naval garbage.
4. Ban the Orb and Cloak. Which make Fortress battles more diverse and force you to think.
In principle, I'm not insisting. Whatever you decide is fine. You'll end up clashing with this yourselves and cursing everything in the world. You'll find yourselves in situations that are not just stupid, but downright idiotic, because of these Orbs.
R55 - don't reply to me :D
За то что нейтралы не бегают за единичкой, для меня это уже стоит того
