Did I miss something, or can centaur captains shoot?

I think the developers planned to give centaurs the ability to shoot, since in other versions, centaurs can shoot, but for some reason, they decided against it.
By the way, in the World of Gods version, centaurs (not captains) are given the ability to shoot. Apparently, the animation was useful after all. :)

Then it's not entirely clear why the frames for the blinding attack are drawn for only one direction...

I think they're just using a mirrored reflection. Although I'm no expert in this, I could be wrong. Just my opinion.
