P.S. I enabled admin rights and compatibility mode.

I also checked the boxes for “Disable visual effects” and “Disable desktop composition.”

No complaints or crashes have been observed.
All you need to do is copy the Heroes folder to any location and set the specified settings in the properties of the Heroes3HD.exe file on the Compatibility tab.
