I doubt it will take 3 months. I think it will take at least 5. But is it worth guessing? Let's judge by the results. So far, I haven't heard of anyone completing it in 5 months, let alone 3.

It would be nice to create a prize fund for inventing a very complex (passable) map, like $500. For the top 3 places, I would also try to create something.
If I find sponsors, I will open a mapmaking contest the next day. All the masters of this craft will gather, and we will get a lot of masterpieces :)
