We shouldn't forget how Navukh handled the qualifiers (ignoring the organizers' opinions) in Moscow and Michurinsk before the CIS final, rigging the results to push Vitalik, who was actually in 5th place, into the prize-winning positions. And he threatened to beat up Alex if he came, intimidating him with his hand-to-hand combat skills. A true organizational talent!
Vitalik was competing in Moscow, where the strongest players were in the qualifier, a real group of death. And he finished in 5th place, along with two others... or rather, three people tied for 3rd-5th place.
And all the others couldn't make it.
And many people thanked me for what I said about the great Alex; he was really annoying everyone on the forum with his swearing and excessive arrogance...
And it was all just words... I also only used words. ;)
But Alex let us down twice with the Chinese players (because of him, we had a draw).
P.S. The topic has strayed from cheaters, but I think everyone is enjoying it. :)
P.P.S. Thank you, Alona, Mee, and Merlin, for your words. I really want to come to Yekaterinburg, but when my little ones are older... to go rafting on boats. :p
