If you had said it was too "vague," "ghostly," "barbaric," or "ambiguous," that would be one thing. But you described the clue as being easy. This raises serious questions.
And the rest is the same old thing: "lol, you're all accusing the wrong person," "No, you're the ones who are wrong," "stop giving yourselves away," etc. It's getting old, and it doesn't always work.
