Why luckily? Maybe he's a bad guy. It would be better if the sorceress resurrected the dead or healed characters with more obvious roles.
Seriously. Why protect and heal people whose roles are unclear and there aren't even any assumptions about them? That's usually how they save all sorts of negative characters, and then the town suffers because of them.
