Why wait until the end of the 6th round? Who, after winning it, would want to test their luck? We need to decide right away about at least the match for 1st-2nd place, or 3rd-4th place (best of 3 or best of 1).

Here's the situation:
According to the rules, there are 6 rounds. And this number wasn't chosen randomly.

The number of rounds is calculated using the formula: [log2 N]+[log2(k–1)], where N is the number of players, and k is the number of prize-winning places (when k=1, [log2(k–1)]=0).

And, if we start holding a match for 1st-2nd place between R55Max and VanjaM now, the participants who have 4 points after the 5th round may be deprived of prize-winning places as a result of the 6th round.

My proposal is this:
The "top" three pairs, which will consist of all the above-mentioned participants, should, by mutual agreement, play best of 2 or best of 3 games, in order to minimize the element of chance and the victory of the random number generator.
Everyone has a chance to take prize-winning places in the tournament.
You play your matches to the fullest, and we determine the winners based on their position in the final standings.
The duration of the 6th round will, of course, be extended in the event that the contenders for prize-winning places agree.
In my opinion, this is fair.
