What bands/albums have you listened to recently?

Suddenly, a lot of new albums came out. Funeral For A Friend released the album Welcome Home Armageddon, which I didn't like. Maybe over time, but I doubt it, because it's too harsh and more like their earlier work, although I do like their earlier work. I'll probably just highlight the song Medicated. Their second-to-last album was definitely better. Lostprophets also released a new album, called Weapons. In my opinion, they rushed it, because the album is inferior to their previous ones. This often happens when a band takes a short break between album releases; it's as if they're just churning out something quickly. I don't even know what the problem is; maybe it just doesn't resonate with me, and the motifs aren't very good, or maybe the music has become less interesting. I'll mention Jesus Walks, Better Off Dead, and Somedays. The MxPx album is called Plans Within Plans. It seems okay, although it didn't really grab my attention. Of the songs, only Stay On Your Feet is decent. They also released an EP called Left Coast Punk EP in 2009, which I also listened to. Not particularly impressive. The Used called their album Vulnerable. They've added a bit of electronics to the sound, and the songs partially resemble their older albums, but also their second-to-last album. It's hard to form an opinion yet, although it seems better than the other new releases, or at least on par with Lostprophets. So far, two songs have caught my attention, and both are ballads. I really liked Together Burning Bright, mainly because of the chorus, and Getting Over You a little less.
