What do the official forums and the fan forums want?

Our forum is certainly amusing…
The topic was created on February 6th, and I immediately pinned it in the Important section.
Between February 6th and 8th, there were 7 responses, and then silence......................
Not a single message for 7 weeks.........................
Thank you that at least someone voted.....

Three weeks later, when the poll closed, Tanya and I started thinking about organization.
Based on this minimal discussion, the voting results, and communication with our other organizers, we decided what we decided, and that's what we have here now.
Then cheaters showed up, and I postponed the start of the tournament until the circumstances are clarified.

A couple of weeks ago, we seriously got down to organizational issues.
On March 27th, I posted our decision in this thread:

- version - SoD...
- for those who voted for WT, we can organize a tournament ...
- let's combine FB and OFB...
We will decide on the format when it becomes clear how many participants there will be...
We will try to start as soon as possible.

But on March 29th,

...just honestly answer, as the host and organizer, I made these decisions. The question is settled.

I don't understand where the suspicion came from that my previous statement was not honest. But never mind…

I wanted to close the topic and moved it down from the Important section.

And then, suddenly, 5 pages were written in three days....
Where were we before?

Thank you for your opinions; we will try to take them into account next time. This time, it’s impossible; too much time and effort has been spent, and there is no desire to redo anything or hold new polls; I don't see any point in delaying it by another couple of months. I don't get paid here; I have a main job, and I wouldn't want to spend more of my weekends; I'd rather go to the Louvre...

Regarding the name - FB – I personally invented it, so I have copyright over its use.

As for combining different versions in one tournament...
I just don't understand the point of putting people in one tournament and forcing them to play something they don't want to. We are playing for fun, right? Why torture players?
It's great when famous nicknames and great players come together. It would be wonderful to organize one tournament for world champions in swimming, running, and pole vaulting. And who cares if they can all swim and have ever seen a pole?... Let them learn, negotiate, or cheat… But at least it would be spectacular... Is that what you want?
In general, of course, the fact that we argued now and released a few pairs is much better than flipping a coin in the final of the tournament.

Regarding a parallel tournament on WT.
I see no obstacles to holding such a tournament and wanted to hold such a tournament. Now I don’t feel like it anymore. But once we sort out registration, edit the rules (this must be done before the start of FB), calculate the rating, update the Useful Info, do some other things (just hope cheaters don't show up), then maybe I will want to think about WT as well. If there are other willing hosts, I am always ready to help.
