That might be true. But it's worth trying – to punish them in a way that they won't even have the desire to cheat again. Especially if the person has expressed a desire to change. Banning someone for cheating on the first offense doesn't make sense – the player will either leave on their own or try to improve. Although the reputation is already damaged... Well, if there's a relapse, then a ban without discussion.
I voted for the need to develop a rehabilitation system – there are already many good suggestions on this topic. I think there's a lot of work on the forum that no one wants to do, but someone will still have to do it. Well, and a probationary period, of course.
