You can, of course, just play a game with beautiful graphics like Disciples or a fast-paced Warcraft, or you can play a normal strategic-tactical game. For me, the best option from Heroes V is the Lords. Heroes III is generally in a league of its own. The fourth one is a perversion of the Heroes series, and the creators of the sixth one just made a joke and created something random.
