"All or nothing" is a primitive approach to tournament play. Ambition is, of course, a driving force for success, but you need to be aware of your capabilities.
And what about respect for other tournament participants?
Respect for the website? Respect for yourself?
You can set a goal not to win the tournament, but, for example, to achieve something within your capabilities:
1. Make it into the top five (7, 10...) strongest players.
2. Win 1-2 matches against an opponent of equal or even greater strength.
3. Score 50% or more of the possible points.
4. Study and practice new templates for future games, especially since you came up with half of them, and many agreed to play them out of respect for your work. And instead of playing and improving your templates, you're doing this... It's sad.
