What would you change in Heroes of Might and Magic IV?

There are plenty of skills, and an overabundance is also not good.
For example, consider the angels. One of their buildings costs more than 30,000 gold and a lot of resources. The upgrade will cost another 15,000 + resources. Where will we get these funds? Should we ignore potions and grand magi? Drag out the game? And what if the opponent decides not to wait and meets us while we're running around with nothing?
Okay, let's say we've upgraded the angels. But what about further upgrades? And if we don't have a Town Portal? Will we have to spend at least 3-4 days traveling back and forth? In the 4th game, you can't create a chain like in the 3rd or 5th game for instant transfer, upgrade, and return, because the creatures have their own movement range. As a result, with this upgrade, we'll just get bogged down, fall behind in development, and ultimately lose.
